Whether you are recovering from an injury, want to improve your posture, or to improve your fitness and performance in other sports and activities, the 1:1 Movement Therapy Classes at The Wellness Centre (Castle Quay) are for you.
This is an exercise program like no other exercise program… In these progressive classes led by Physiotherapist Beniamin Kasprzyk, you will be provided with step-by-step guidance to full body control and awareness. Each class focus on a different part of the body and different movement pattern. By developing a ‘positional presence’ (a constant observation and correction of your body’s position using your muscles) you will achieve full body balance and strength. This skill can be applied by you to everything you do in life. By building balanced strength through precise exercises, you will become confident in your body’s ability, know your limitations, and know exactly what to do to overcome them.
All classes consist of a warm-up, guided tuition and exercises, and a cool-down stretching program. These exercises are mat-based, and any equipment or props needed will be provided. Sessions are available Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
