Pheasant, boar, venison, hare. Marinated in Chianti Reserva wine, then cooked with celery, carrots, onions, mixed herbs, garlic, saffron. Served with Mediterranean vegetables, roasted parsnips, mushrooms, sliced roasted potatoes & garlic bread.
Trio of Fish:
A selection of char-grilled sea bass, salmon, king prawns. Served in a bed of smoked salmon with fresh tomatoes & cucumber salad.

The proprietor of La Laterna is Ivan Pellegrini, a native Sardinian whose friendly staff echo the Sardinian spirit: generous, spontaneous, family-centred and thoroughly Mediterranean. The menu is extensive and includes stone-baked pizzas, pasta, risotto, fish and meat dishes cooked in the Sardinian style. The wine list is dominated by wine from the region and represents exceedingly good value for money. This is a restaurant to savour, as are the flavours that come from the food.
