HELL WEEK – 7 Workouts in 7 Days!
Pumping music. Dim lighting. Sweaty palms.
One of the most highly anticipated Jersey CrossFit challenges of the year, Hell Week consists of seven days of high-intensity, yet doable workouts to encourage participants to awaken their inner beast and prove to themselves what their bodies are capable of. Workouts for the arms. Workouts for the legs. Workouts for the psyche.
THE CONCEPT
Introducing Project: Hell Week. This year, Jersey CrossFit will go down into our deep dark vault and release the seven most challenging (but doable!) workouts that have never seen the light of day…until now. Countless planning sessions, hundreds of tests, now rolled out into seven days with the aim to burn over 1000 calories per session. What will the JCF team select? Show up and find out.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In a nutshell? Expect variety & nothing too complex.
On the bikes/runs: All outs, high resistance, long pushes—you’re going to see it all. Whether you are an endurance runner or more into short, high intensity efforts, you’ll get some workouts that will scratch the itch!
On the rowers/skis: “You’ll see all out, short recovery, and some nice challenges—do an interval, hop off, do an exercise or two, then hop back on. And, of course, long endurance, because it wouldn’t be Hell Week otherwise.
On the floor: You will have opportunities to build strength, be explosive, and to do a lot of reps during some workouts. There are some fun challenges waiting for you.
P.S. Yes, there will likely be burpees!!
THE RULES
Your mission: Complete seven workouts in seven days between JANUARY 8TH – 14TH 2024.
HOW TO SURVIVE
Follow these guidelines to get through the week with your health and happiness intact.
Sleep – Make sure to get 7-9 hours of sleep to ensure your getting good recovery for our sessions.
Nourish – Stay hydrated, refuel after workouts, and eat balanced meals throughout the day. We will send you a FREE 28 Day Nutrition Plan to help you along the way!
Don’t overdo it – It is okay to have an easier day during Hell Week if you need it! During intervals, weight sets, or exercises, just keep the intensity lower at a pace that you can hold a conversation with, and ensure weights are kept light…you will still be building fitness and raring to go again for the next workout!
Stretch – Always arrive on time and stay for the last five minutes of class so we can make sure your prepped for the next session ahead and help speed up your recovery.
Have fun – Enjoy the different daily challenges 🙂 The coaches will always make it a joy to work out and if you plan the week ahead and sign up for classes, you will be more likely to go.

You can absolutely do it. Yes, it’s high intensity, but it’s accessible for everyone and all movements are scalable. Your coach will help you modify the workouts to meet your fitness level.
