How it Works
- Ellipse uses short, safe bursts of light from a flash lamp to remove unwanted hair.
- Light is filtered to ensure that only the correct wavelengths reach your skin.
- The hair transmits the heat from the light into the hair follicle, destroying it.
- The most effective treatment is seen on darker hair.
- Although not entirely, pain free, most patients relate it to the feeling of a rubber band snapping on the skin.
- To rid yourself of unwanted hair for good, you will need between 4 and 8 treatments, taken approximately a month and a half apart.
Please ensure that in the 4 weeks leading up to your treatment, you do not wax, tweeze or use any creams to remove hairs in your chosen area. You are able to shave the entire way through your treatment.
However, please ensure you allow 4 days of hair growth prior to your patch test.
